Technical Support
Vertex will provide technical support on setting up and configuring your account(s) and other related software provided by Vertex at no additional charge up to six hours per company. Additionally, Vertex provides technical support for Microsoft Outlook, Entourage, Outlook Express, OWA via Internet Explorer, but it does not offer customers support for other mail clients, applications, or plug-ins.

Maintenance
Vertex may need to perform routine maintenance on the servers on a regular basis that may halt service for up to one hour per month.

In order to proactively thwart security threats, Vertex may need to install security patches or replace hardware to maintain a sound infrastructure.

Mailbox & Public Folder Storage Capacity
Each mailbox and public folder has its own storage limit. If the storage amount goes over the set amount, this overage will be charged at the standard rate. We will not stop access on your account for size overage.

Mailbox data
All mailbox data is your property, Vertex makes no claim on this data.

Backup and Restore
Backup is provided for all mailboxes for both Standard Accounts as well as Dedicated Servers. Each night a backup is done with a backup retention of one week. As needed, prior to doing a mailbox restore from tape, Vertex will first attempt to locate and restore the content from the Exchange server. Please note, in the event of a system issue, Vertex is able to restore mailboxes and folders. Vertex can for a $10 fee per incident restore mailboxes that are restored at the request of the client for personal reasons.
