Web Site Design Process
Part art and part science, our design process is based on the premise that our web sites work economically, aesthetically and strategically in the marketplace. While our magic is in our people, our time tested 5 stage process is proven and effective.

Discovery Phase
In our discovery phase we gather information and explore the objectives of the website. We define the roles of the audience and brainstorm how best to design the site to meet their needs. We also define the competitive marketspace and establish benchmark sites.

Conceptual Phase
Our conceptual phase includes two important deliverables – sitemapping and wireframing. The site map serves as the overall schematic of the website where the wireframes work to blue print each page. Tasks here include setting global navigation and establishing responsibility for website content.

Visual Design Phase
Decisions are made that narrow options and focus on final solutions. We initially produce sets of rough compositions for review. Upon review and design discussion, additional sets of compositions are produced. From the final composition, we create a template and style guide that will be reused throughout the site.

Production Phase
This phase includes integrating the finished product from the visual design phase with backend databases, content management systems and E Commerce storefronts. It is during this phase when finishing touches are made to the site and we prepare for site launch.

Deployment & Maintenance Phase
At Vertex Internet site launch is not the end of our client relationship. It only marks a transition in the next phase of E Business which is the maintenance of the site. It is in this phase where we work with our clients on search engine strategy and refine the core goals of the website.
