2011

Our portfolio expands with a string of prestigious contracts, further establishing our presence in the industry. We broadened our horizons, venturing into residential property M&E maintenance, and also welcomed our first apprentice to the Vertex team.

We invest in a senior team to capitalise on growth opportunities, and we enhance our portfolio with more static sites in commercial and office spaces.

A significant milestone: our successful tender for the prestigious King’s Cross estate showcases our prowess in complex property management.

Stepping into the heritage sector, we secure a major contract for the iconic V&A Museum.

Our senior leadership team grows with the appointment of Wayne Tantrum as Managing Director. Expanding onto our heritage contracts, we secure Royal Museums Greenwich, and more commercial properties are added onto our ever-growing portfolio.

We enter the life sciences sector, adapting to its specialised maintenance requirements. We appoint an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Manager to spearhead our commitment to sustainability and social value.

Team achievements

The expansion into shopping centre maintenance services highlights our versatility and commitment to diversification. More promotions within the team into senior leadership roles. Team Vertex nominate Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity as their charity of choice. Vertex makes it to the finals of the PFM Awards in the Partners in Sustainability category and our apprentices reach the finals of the CIBSE Young Engineers Award and BESA Awards.
